Job Listing: Executive & Operations Intern (Unpaid)
Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Hybrid Preferred)
Start Date: Late Fall 2026
Time Commitment: 10–20 hours per week (flexible)
Duration: Fall 2026 – Spring/Summer 2027
Position Overview
The LOVELOUD Foundation is seeking an Executive & Operations Intern to support organizational planning, event logistics, and day-to-day operations leading up to our 10-Year Anniversary LOVELOUD celebration in 2027.
This role is ideal for someone interested in nonprofit management, live event production, executive support, and community organizing. The intern will work closely with the LOVELOUD leadership team and play a key role in helping prepare for what will be our biggest year yet.
This is a hands-on opportunity to gain behind-the-scenes experience in how a nonprofit event and advocacy organization operates at both the strategic and execution levels.
Core Responsibilities
Executive Support
Assist with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating logistics
Help organize internal documents, notes, and project timelines
Support preparation of board materials, agendas, and follow-up communications
Attend meetings and assist with note-taking and action item tracking
Event Planning & Logistics
Support planning and coordination for LOVELOUD 2027 programming and activations
Help manage vendor communication, outreach, and scheduling
Assist with venue research, event timelines, and production preparation
Support volunteer coordination and community partner communication
Administrative Support
Maintain organized systems for sponsorship, outreach, and partnership tracking
Assist in drafting emails, proposals, and outreach materials
Help manage spreadsheets, forms, and internal planning documents
Support day-to-day administrative tasks as needed
Community & Partner Coordination
Assist in communication with sponsors, partners, and collaborators
Help track community event opportunities and partnership development
Support outreach to local businesses, nonprofits, and stakeholders
Ideal Qualifications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
Interest in nonprofit work, event production, or executive support
Comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive)
Able to multitask and manage multiple moving pieces
Passion for LGBTQ+ advocacy, mental health, and community impact
Self-starter with a willingness to learn and jump into new projects
